Here’s the full scoop on the new episodes

It’s almost time to board Flight 828 for the last time. The first half of Manifest Season 4 is coming in days, and Manifesters everywhere couldn’t be more excited to reunite with the characters. they have known and loved (and now rescued) since lift-off.

Manifest first premiered on NBC in September 2021 and was later canceled in June 2021 after three seasons. Of course, fans everywhere helped propel the series to incredible heights on Netflix, prompting the streamer to save the series for one final season.

Finally, the fruits of labor from the #SaveManifest campaign will be coming to Netflix this fall. If you have any questions that need answering in preparation for Season 4 Part 1, here’s the full scoop on the new episodes.

Manifest Season 3 Ending Explained

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Manifest season 3.

The two-part Season 3 finale of Manifest (which also served as the series finale for a few months), delivered a high-octane Q&A double feature. All hell breaks loose in Eureka when the tests on the drift damage Cal, who touches the drift and disappears.

Ben and Grace are desperate to retrieve Cal, and Saanvi releases the drift into the ocean. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, uh… empennage. Adrian and Eagan continue to cause trouble for the Stones by radicalizing a group of 828 passengers against them, including Angelina.

Believing baby Eden to be her guardian angel, Angelina breaks into the Stone household and stabs Grace in order to kidnap Eden. Right after, an adult Cal mysteriously returns home and bids farewell to his dying mother, assuring her that he knows what to do.

In the episode’s final sequence, Dr. Gupta leaves Eureka and notices Captain Bill Daly in the cockpit of the rebuilt Flight 828 plane. She watches as he and the plane disappear in an inexplicable flash of light. Disappearances, reappearances, deaths, kidnappings, relationship struggles… It all leads to an explosive final season.

What is Manifest season 4 part 1 about?

Based on the above recap of the Season 3 finale, Manifest will tackle the death of Grace and the kidnapping of Eden, both of which will cast a large shadow over the emotional motivations of the characters in the fourth. season.

Additionally, Manifest Season 4 picks up two years after the Season 3 finale, but Ben is still grieving and searching for Eden. In those two years, things have changed dramatically for the 828ers, as Michaela steers the lifeboat on her own with a new government agency breathing down her neck.

The dreaded date of death creeps up on Ben, Michaela, Cal, Saanvi, and all the passengers with no clear solution to surviving the date in sight. But it will be the captivating and surely winding journey of our heroes in the 10 episodes of part 1.

Is Grace in season 4 of Manifest?

Unfortunately, Athena Karkanis will not be appearing in Manifest season 4 in a series regular capacity as Grace Stone. Prior to the release of Season 4, the powers that be at Manifest did not confirm whether Karkanis would make an appearance in flashbacks or dream sequences.

In case Manifesters can say a final goodbye to Grace (and Karkanis) in some sort of cameo appearance in Manifest Season 4 Part 1 or Part 2, it’s best left as a surprise. For now, we should assume we’ve said goodbye to Grace.

How many episodes are there in Manifest season 4 part 1?

When Netflix taped Manifest for a fourth and final season, the streamer announced up front that Season 4 would have a sizable 20-episode order. Although this is in direct opposition to the creator of the six-season plan imagined by Jeff Rake, 20 episodes is better than cancellation.

Netflix will split season 4 into two. Manifest Season 4 Part 1 will contain 10 episodes and Part 2 will contain the remaining 10. Of course, three more seasons of 13 episodes each would have been preferred, but we’re grateful that those 20 episodes complete the story.

When is Manifest Season 4 Part 1 coming to Netflix? Release date and time

Manifest season 4 part 1 premieres on Netflix on Friday, November 4. As Manifesters well know by now, November 4 is the day Flight 828 landed after a five-and-a-half-year absence. The release date for the first half of Season 4—the first since it was saved—is super special and poetic.

How to watch Manifest season 4 part 1

To watch the fourth season of Manifest, you will need to have a Netflix subscription. Unlike the first three seasons, which aired on NBC and aired on the network’s associated streaming entities, Season 4 of Manifest will be exclusive to Netflix.

When could the first part of Manifest season 4 air?

As of October 2022, Netflix has not confirmed when Manifest Season 4 Part 2 will air, although it is expected to release in 2023.

Since Netflix has consistently honored important dates in the Manifest canon, Manifesters was already considering an April 2023 release to coincide with Flight 828’s departure date or a June 2023 release to coincide with the death date.
